International PPC needs more than translated keywords

International B2B search demand rarely fits one keyword list. Software buyers may search in English while industrial procurement teams use local product names, specifications and distributor terms. Professional services searches often include country-specific qualifications or regulatory requirements. Campaigns need to distinguish those buying signals from research traffic, then compete with both international vendors and established local suppliers without treating every market as an English-language extension.

Mediacharge is headquartered in Munich and runs campaigns across twelve European markets in 14 languages with native specialists. We structure international PPC around language, territory and sales coverage, rather than copying a home-market account. Country-level reporting connects spend to qualified enquiries and pipeline, so a market producing inexpensive form fills does not automatically outrank one generating fewer, more commercially relevant opportunities.

Language is not a territory

Shared languages do not mean shared demand: German searches in Germany and Austria can differ in terminology, supplier expectations and competitive context.

Launch where sales can deliver

Prioritise countries where your team can handle enquiries in the buyer’s language, meet procurement requirements and support customers after the sale.

Compare commercial outcomes

Assess markets against qualified opportunities and pipeline, accounting for different sales cycles rather than ranking countries by cost per lead alone.

Which international markets and languages does Mediacharge cover?
We run campaigns across twelve European markets in 14 languages with native specialists. On the free marketing plan call, we can check your target countries and languages against our coverage and agree which markets warrant an initial PPC test.
Should we run English-only PPC campaigns internationally?
Not by default. English can capture demand in internationally oriented sectors such as enterprise software, but local-language searches can reveal different suppliers, product categories and buying requirements. We assess search behaviour by market and separate language tests where there is enough demand to make the results useful.
How should international PPC accounts be structured?
Separate campaigns by territory and language where budgets, sales coverage or commercial goals differ. A shared language is not enough reason to combine countries. Location settings, search terms and exclusions also need checking so spend reaches buyers in markets you can actually serve.
How do you choose which countries to launch first?
Start with sales readiness, relevant search demand and the strength of local competitors. For industrial suppliers, distribution and delivery coverage may be decisive; for software businesses, localisation and customer support may matter more. Test a focused group of markets before expanding, rather than spreading the launch budget across every available country.
How do you measure PPC performance across countries?
Use consistent definitions of qualified leads and opportunities, then review results by country and language. Where tracking and CRM data allow, connect campaign activity to pipeline and account for currency differences and sales-cycle length. Consent requirements and tracking gaps should be made explicit rather than hidden inside a blended international total.
Do you need an agency office in every target country?
No. Mediacharge is headquartered in Munich, with an office in Isarvorstadt. Our team works remotely with businesses in other cities and travels for workshops. Native specialists provide language expertise, while shared reporting keeps international campaign decisions connected to your sales priorities.
